Birmingham is pulling out all the stops this Saturday, with a city-wide spread of events that runs from morning chocolate adventures to deep-into-the-night club sessions. Whether you are chasing live guitar anthems, soulful dancefloors, arena-sized rock legends, or the kind of drum and bass that rattles your bones, November 7th has you completely covered. Wrap up, get out, and let Brum do its thing.

Highlights

Manic Street Preachers & Suede — Two of Britain's most beloved and enduringly brilliant bands share the same stage at the Utilita Arena — this is the kind of double bill that makes you feel like you won a lottery ticket. Expect Suede's swooning, cinematic glam and the Manics' furious, poetic rock to collide in one unforgettable night. Doors open at 6:00pm, so get in early and soak up every second. Check website for tickets.

Soul and Rhythm & Blues All Dayer — Starting at 4:00pm at The Crossing, this all-dayer is a warm, generous celebration of two of the most emotionally rich musical traditions on the planet. Think deep cuts, effortless grooves, and a crowd that genuinely loves every note — the kind of afternoon that turns into an evening without you even noticing. Tickets are £14–£18 and represent seriously good value for what promises to be a soul-soaked marathon.

Cadbury World - Standard Entry — Kicking off at 10:00am, a trip to Cadbury World is one of those joyful, slightly ridiculous treats that Birmingham does better than anywhere else on earth. Perfect for families, couples, or frankly anyone who believes that chocolate is a legitimate cultural experience, this is a morning well spent in the company of something genuinely delicious. Check the website for pricing and to book your slot.

SELECTA 360: Bou + B-Live 247 — If drum and bass is your religion, then 11 Bromley Street at 8:00pm is your church this Saturday. Bou is one of the most exciting names in contemporary DnB, and paired with B-Live 247 in one of Birmingham's most switched-on club spaces, this is a night that will have the floors shaking from the first drop. Tickets start at just £5, making this one of the best-value nights of the weekend.

The Proclaimers — Craig and Charlie Reid bring their irresistible blend of heartfelt folk-pop and Scottish fire to the magnificent Symphony Hall at 7:30pm, and if you have ever sung along to one of their songs at the top of your lungs — and who hasn't — you already know how good this is going to feel. Symphony Hall's acoustics will give every jangly guitar and soaring vocal the grandeur it deserves. Check the website for ticket availability.

Commune Presents: Mella Dee - 3 Hour Set & Jhobei — Club Colette transforms into a techno and electronic sanctuary from 10:00pm as Mella Dee steps in for a rare, extended three-hour set — the kind of uninterrupted, immersive journey that reminds you why the dancefloor matters. Jhobei opens proceedings to warm the room perfectly before Mella Dee takes over with his signature brand of rolling, hypnotic energy. Tickets are £13–£19, and this one is going to be talked about long after Saturday is done.
