About OnThisWeekend
OnThisWeekend started with a simple frustration: planning a great day or night out shouldn't mean trawling through half a dozen websites. Whether it's a gig, a comedy show, a food market, or a family-friendly festival, the information is out there — but it's scattered across ticketing platforms, venue sites, and social media pages. We wanted everything in one place so you could spend less time searching and more time doing.
That's exactly what OnThisWeekend does. We pull together events from Ticketmaster and Skiddle across 15 UK cities, then use AI to curate a digest for each day — highlighting the most exciting things happening and giving you a quick, opinionated overview of what's worth your time. Think of it as a friend who always knows what's on and is genuinely excited to tell you about it.
How it works
Each day, we automatically fetch the latest event listings for the next two weeks across every city. Our AI generates a curated summary for each date — picking out highlights across live music, theatre, comedy, nightlife, family events, and more. The event data is refreshed daily, so new listings appear as soon as they're published by the ticketing platforms.
We cover London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Glasgow, Cardiff, Newcastle, Brighton, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, and Belfast — with more cities on the way.
Who's behind it
OnThisWeekend is built by Pav, a UK-based developer who loves planning days out and discovering new experiences. After years of juggling multiple websites just to figure out what's happening on a given weekend, the idea for OnThisWeekend felt obvious — bring it all together in one clean, simple guide that anyone can use. No account needed, no clutter, just events.
