What's On in Leicester

Deptford Northern Soul Club - Halloween Special — The legendary Deptford Northern Soul Club brings its joyful, sweat-drenched energy to The Donkey Inn for a Halloween special that proves All Hallows' Eve belongs just as much to the all-nighter faithful as to the costume crowd. Expect rare groove, flipped collars, and that particular brand of communal euphoria that only Northern Soul delivers — spooky season has never felt this soulful. Doors at 7:00pm and just £10 to get in, this is an unmissable early-evening anchor for your night.

HALLOWEEN DAY PARTY - Fat Cat - Saturday 31st October! — Why wait until dark? Fat Cat in Leicester throws open its doors at 3:00pm for a daytime Halloween bash that gets the party started while most people are still carving pumpkins. At a flat £10, it is a brilliantly accessible way to ease into the wildest Saturday of the year without committing to a full late-night mission — though we suspect it will make you want to do exactly that.

FATHOM X Deeper Sounds HALLOWEEN (Sully/J:Kenzo/Youngsta) — This is the one for the bass music faithful. FATHOM teams up with Deeper Sounds at the 440 Venue to deliver a Halloween lineup that reads like a who's who of the UK underground — Sully, J:Kenzo, and Youngsta on the same night is genuinely rare, and Leicester should feel lucky to have them. Kicking off at 10:00pm with tickets from £11, this is the kind of event people travel cities for; if bass culture is your world, do not sleep on it.

Kurupt FM Halloween Leicester — Kurupt FM — the fictional pirate radio station turned real-life cultural phenomenon — rolls into the O2 Academy Leicester at 10:00pm for a Halloween edition that promises big room energy, infectious MC chat, and an audience absolutely buzzing with nostalgia and pure joy. Tickets run from £14 to £29 and this is as close to a guaranteed good time as the night has to offer — dress up, show up, and let Kurupt do the rest.

I LOVE 90s & 00s - HALLOWEEN EDITION — At 2Funky Street Kitchen from 9:00pm, this Halloween edition of the beloved 90s and 00s night is your invitation to scream along to every banger you grew up with while wearing the most unhinged costume you can assemble. At £5–£10 it is one of the better-value options on an already packed night, and there is something genuinely life-affirming about a dancefloor full of people losing it to tracks they first heard on a family car radio twenty years ago.

Cube Lounge: Halloween Party — For an early-evening entry point into the festivities, Cube Lounge at BOXED Bar and Venue opens its Halloween party at 6:00pm for just £3 — making it one of the most affordable options of the entire day. It is the perfect warm-up for a longer night out, or a great standalone option if you want the atmosphere and the costumes without the full late-night commitment. Friendly, fun, and extraordinarily easy on the wallet.
