What's On in Leicester
Thursday 05 November 2026 · This weekend · City guide
Leicester might be wrapping itself in November darkness, but Thursday the 5th has exactly the kind of spark to make you pull on your coat and head out the door. There may be just one headline act this evening, but it is an absolute belter — the city's comedy radar is well and truly pinging tonight.
Highlights
Simon Brodkin: Unleashed — The brilliantly anarchic Simon Brodkin — the man who gatecrashed a Donald Trump press conference and rained golf balls on Theresa May — brings his Unleashed tour to the grand surroundings of De Montfort Hall at 7:30pm. Expect razor-sharp character work, fearless satirical chaos, and the kind of laughter that leaves your sides genuinely aching. Check the website for ticket prices, and do not leave it too late — a comedian this bold in a venue this iconic is a rare Thursday night treat.
