Belfast is pulling out all the stops for Halloween 2026, and Saturday the 31st of October might just be the most gloriously chaotic day the city has seen in years. From afternoon punk shows and intimate album launches to arena-filling pop royalty and underground club nights bleeding into the small hours, there is something here that will make your heart race — whatever that something happens to be. Dust off your costume, pick your corner of the city, and prepare for a night (and day) you will not forget.

Highlights

Punkoween Daytime Show — Kick Halloween off the right way — loud, fast, and unapologetically spiky — at the Oh Yeah Centre from 2:00pm. This beloved Belfast music hub hosts a daytime punk celebration that is perfect for early risers who still want to bruise their eardrums before sundown. At just £7–£10, it is one of the most accessible thrills on the calendar today.

Jamie Webster: Album Launch Show — Liverpool's anthemic troubadour Jamie Webster brings his brand new record to life at the spectacular McConnell's Distillery in an 8:00pm show that is already generating serious buzz. Webster has a rare gift for turning a room full of strangers into a crowd singing in unison, and a distillery is just about the most atmospheric setting imaginable for a night like this. Tickets are £20–£41, but for a proper album launch with real emotional heft, that feels like a bargain.

Westlife 25 - The Anniversary World Tour — Twenty-five years on and Westlife are still capable of filling The O2 Belfast on Halloween night — which tells you everything you need to know about their enduring hold on the hearts of this island. Expect a glittering, emotionally charged greatest-hits spectacular from 6:30pm, the kind of show where strangers cry happy tears together in the best possible way. Check the website for ticket availability and pricing, and do not be surprised if this one sells out fast.

Fuego Fatale-Women of Horror — For something a little more theatrical and a lot more spine-tingling, the Black Box presents this darkly brilliant celebration of women in horror from 7:00pm. Fuego Fatale brings together performance, storytelling, and atmosphere in a way that feels tailor-made for the most Gothic night of the year. Tickets range from £12–£32 and the intimate Black Box setting means every shiver lands that bit closer.

Black Parade - 00's Emo Anthems Halloween Party Belfast — The Empire becomes a shrine to eyeliner, heartbreak, and My Chemical Romance from 9:00pm, and if you spent any part of your teenage years with a fringe over one eye, this one is non-negotiable. Expect a floor absolutely packed with people who know every word to every song, Halloween costumes that blur the line between dress-up and genuine personal identity, and an energy that is pure cathartic joy. At £7–£10, it is the most affordable emotional release in the city tonight.

The Night Institute x Gods Waiting Room: Halloween Ball — For those who want their Halloween served with serious production values and a dancefloor that does not quit until morning, this collaboration between two of Belfast's most respected club collectives at Shorts Recreation Club from 9:00pm is the one to watch. Expect immersive decor, a carefully curated lineup, and a crowd who dressed to impress and mean business on the dancefloor. Tickets are £20 — a fair price for what promises to be the underground event of the year.
