What's On in London
Tuesday 11 August 2026 · This weekend · City guide
Tuesday in London has no interest in being ordinary. Whether you're chasing the thunder of live metal or hunting for the perfect afternoon out with the kids, the city is ready to deliver something memorable — all before the week has even hit its stride.
Highlights
School's Out | Rollernation — Summer holidays and roller skates are a combination that basically writes itself, and Rollernation is the place to make it happen. This 1:00pm session is a brilliant excuse to drag the family to one of London's most beloved skating venues and let everyone — yes, including the grown-ups — rediscover the pure, wobbly joy of rolling around a rink. At £16, it is an afternoon well spent and almost certainly better exercise than you were planning to do anyway.

200 STAB WOUNDS downstairs — Death metal fans, this one is for you — and it is happening in the best possible setting. Cleveland's own 200 Stab Wounds bring their ferocious, riff-heavy assault to the intimate confines of Downstairs At The Dome at 7:00pm, meaning the walls will practically be sweating from the first note. For £18 you get up close and personal with one of the most talked-about acts in modern death metal, and that kind of proximity in a small venue is genuinely something special.
