What's On in Sheffield
Thursday 17 September 2026 · This weekend · City guide
Sheffield's Thursday night proves once again that this city knows how to make the working week feel like the weekend. From a legendary metal act tearing up Corporation to a brilliantly curated indie bill at one of the city's most characterful intimate venues, tonight is a reminder that some of the best nights out happen mid-week when you least expect them. Dust off your earplugs and get yourself out there.
Highlights

SARCOFAGO — Brazilian extreme metal legends Sarcofago arriving at Corporation is the kind of event that serious metalheads circle in their calendars months in advance. Corporation's cavernous, no-frills atmosphere is the perfect church for this sort of brutal, uncompromising noise, and the crowd will almost certainly be one of those sweaty, passionate gatherings where everyone present knows every riff. Doors from 7:00pm — check the website for ticket prices and do not hang about.

DC Presents: Glasshouse Red Spider Mite / Heart Piece / Bedworm — Delicious Clam's DC Presents series has a well-earned reputation for unearthing genuinely exciting new acts before everyone else catches on, and this triple bill looks like another cracker. Three names that suggest angular, adventurous sounds and the kind of set where you leave not quite sure what just happened but absolutely buzzing — which is exactly the point. Get down to Delicious Clam for 7:30pm and part with a very reasonable £12 for what promises to be a properly memorable night.
