Jeffrey Alexander & The Heavy Lidders/Bobby Lee / Hearing Things — This one is a genuine treat for anyone who loves music that feels lived-in and gloriously unhurried — Jeffrey Alexander and the Heavy Lidders deal in the kind of hazy, psychedelic Americana that sounds like a dusty highway at golden hour. Alongside Bobby Lee and Hearing Things, it is a Sunday afternoon bill that punches well above its weight, all tucked into the intimate surrounds of Alder Bar from 3:00pm. Tickets are £12–£15, and for the quality on offer, that is a steal.
