Roddy Radiation (The Specials) + The Skabilly's Live @ Billy's — One of the founding guitarists of The Specials — the band that practically invented the sound of an era — takes to the intimate stage at Billy Bootleggers for a night of rollicking ska and rockabilly energy. This is living music history in a venue small enough that you can feel every riff in your chest, and at £8 it is one of the best-value live shows you will find anywhere in the city this month. Doors open at 7:30pm, so get there early and grab a spot close to the front.
Archives - Back to the 00s & 10s throwbacks - Nottingham — If you grew up with MySpace open in one tab and a illegal download of a pop-punk anthem in another, Archives at NG1 is your spiritual home for the night. From 10:30pm the dancefloor lights up with the anthems that defined two decade-defining eras — expect euphoric sing-alongs, slightly embarrassing dance moves, and a crowd united by shared nostalgia. Entry is just £5–£10, which is frankly a bargain for a full night of pure throwback joy.
