Bristol after dark on a Friday in August is a thing of genuine beauty, and this particular Friday is no exception. From warehouse raves to house music temples to a full-throated emo singalong, the city is offering up three very different invitations to lose yourself completely. Pick your flavour — or, if you are feeling ambitious, pick all three.

Highlights

Bristol FREE Rave [Summer Series] Bladerunner + MC Felon, VISLA — The Clock Factory throws open its doors for another instalment of its beloved summer rave series, and this one costs you next to nothing — entry is free to £5, which in 2026 might be the best deal in the city. Bladerunner and MC Felon are a formidable pairing, the kind of act that turns a warehouse into a living, breathing thing, and VISLA adds another layer of serious electronic muscle to the bill. Doors at 10:00pm, so fuel up, dress down, and get ready to dance until your legs file a formal complaint.

EverythingHouse (Bristol) — TEMPLE XIII is one of Bristol's most atmospheric venues, and EverythingHouse knows exactly how to fill it — with warm, driving, body-moving house music that feels like it was built specifically for late nights and good company. Kicking off at 11:00pm for just £5–£10, this is the kind of night that sneaks up on you and suddenly it is 4am and you have made three new best friends. If you love house music, this is not optional.

Black Parade - 00's Emo Anthems | Bristol — The Fleece is the perfect venue for this — a room with the right amount of sweaty, glorious energy to honour the decade that gave us eyeliner, skinny jeans, and some of the most passionately felt music ever committed to a guitar. Black Parade raids the 2000s emo and pop-punk canon for an 11:00pm set that will have you screaming every word to songs you thought you had forgotten, surrounded by people who feel exactly the same way. At just £6, it is cheaper than therapy and considerably more fun.
